Process:
They have full extension glides. The back of the drawer aligns with the front of the dresser giving full access. The painted shell is 3/4 cabinet grade birch plywood which i put a slot in in order to slide the back panel in (1/4 in birch) then add 3.5" back straps. As a cabinet maker this is what I'm custom to. The face and tops are solid 3/4 walnut in which I glue up and then mill into the fronts in order to keep a continual grain pattern throughout the whole piece. I use a durable conversion varnish as a clear coat over the walnut which then brings out all the natural movement of the real wood. I use a 1 1/2 16g square tubing for the legs and use wood inserts to attach the legs to the piece with machine screws in order to be able to add and remove them time and time again without stripping anything out. The adjustable feet are then inserted into the nuts welded into the legs for a total height of 5" from floor to underside of dresser.
